Throughout his career in the public sector, Dr Brits was dedicated to serving his patients as well as introducing new ideas to enhance the efficiency of state healthcare. Dr Brits is an Honorary Consultant at the University of Witwatersrand and is actively involved in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and training in the field of Urology.
Dr Brits works in private practice at Netcare Mulbarton Hospital in Johannesburg. He seeks to provide patients with high-quality, evidence-based urological care in a pleasant environment.
What to expect
Your first consultation will last around 30 minutes.
Consultations thereafter will last around 20 minutes.
Your consultation may involve a medical history, physical exam, ultrasound, Uroflow, and urine dipsticks.
Laboratory tests and scans including ultrasound, CT, and MRI may be ordered after the consultation.
